The Keg Room - Hamilton

I haven't been here in a long time, but it remains a classic. The new ordering technology is impressive, and I appreciated that we hardly had to interact with anyone, which was amusing. I would love to try the Gin Tree someday; it’s a brilliant idea and looks delicious and fun!

This is the perfect spot for a Christmas gathering or holiday event. The food was excellent, and the festive atmosphere was delightful!

What really sets this place apart is that you can bring your furry friend, and they even provide food for dogs. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed with the service. While the female staff members were quite attentive and friendly, there was a young white guy, short with a bit of stubble, who seemed rather lazy. When we asked him for water, he pretended to forget and vanished. After half an hour, we asked him again, and while he feigned apology, it was evident he wasn’t sincere. He then pointed out that there were jugs of water at the bar that we could have helped ourselves to, but he hadn’t mentioned that earlier. This made us wait thirsty for far too long, and because of this experience, I took off one star.

Food was amazing, not the same old stuff you get at other restaurants. Service was great, even the owner was helping out. We sat between the bar and front window and the light bulb above me was super bright compared to the rest of the restaurant which was a bit annoying.
