Canton Tavern - Hamilton

It's great to see the dining room has been spruced up. I ordered takeout and still found that the Singapore noodles are the best in the city. They have just the right amount of spice.

I ordered the #13 - sweet and sour chicken, chicken fried rice, and an egg roll, with an additional side of steamed rice. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the service was fast.

Despite the negative first review, the owners of this restaurant are actually very kind and I have never had any issues with them.

We order from them at least once a month, they are so good! Our favorites are the chicken fried rice, beef lo mien, lemon chicken, and the sweet and sour pork ribs...yum! Super fast service...like it's done and ready in 10-15 minutes. We've never eaten in, always do takeout. Prices are fairly reasonable compared to other places, but I think the quality is just a bit better. Worth trying if you're in the area!

Please don't be fooled by the 60's decor. This Chinese restaurant has the best food in London. Always hot fresh and fast to your table. The portion sizes are excellent with a variety of dishes to choose from. Whether you order take out delivery or dine in you will never be disappointed.
