Phở Thiên Ý - Haltom City

The food at this place was great, but the service was lacking. The beef pho was stuffed full of noodles and beef strips, better than any other pho I have eaten. The shrimp and pork spring rolls were hefty and the peanut sauce was generous. The mall in which this pho shop was located is obviously in decline and is pretty shabby. Even though I loved the food my complaint and the reason I dropped them to 4 stars was the service. The food did come out quickly, but I could not get the waitresses attention to get a water refill or to get my check. I literally stared at them while they were on their phones, hoping they would look up. It almost felt like both waitresses seemed to deliberately not look at you. Very irritating. I would go back to this restaurant, but I would pay cash in advance so there would be no need to deal with service staff.

Best grilled chicken spring rolls in DFW. The Pho was excellent...the consistency of the noodles was perfect, not soggy and mushy like they've been sitting in water for a long time or clumped together like they were just taken out of a package.Food: 5/5

Delicious food. Just lacks good customer service and proper receipts- you wouldn't know what you're charged for because the “receipt” just shows the overall total. Which doesn't make sense because everytime I come, it’s always a clean dollar digit.. where’s the change amount? Where's the tax amount? Do they over charge (round up) or sneak in their tip with your total? Either way, customers should receive proper receipts.
