The Pipers Inn - HALLS HEAD

Friendly, cheap and cheerful small bar. Been a few times now and they always have some kind of offer on food and drink. Quality of food is very good and its great for a cheap night out.

Was visiting a friend in WA who us from Scotland, like myself, and she took me here. It is obviously her local for a reason. Really friendly welcome and chatty staff. Menu is classic Scottish food; not the healthiest of menus but still love it! Square sausage roll was great, better than most in Scotland. Irn bru available too which is perfect hangover cure. The decor is Scotland, Scotland, Scotland, as you would expect and it made me laugh. Different food deals on during the week too. Would be a great place for a night out as well.

Went there to Pipers Inn in Halls Head today 19/04 after a long day at work. Entered at approximately 1600, nil people waiting at the bar for service. I was at the bar awaiting to be served and there were 2 people behind the bar. 1 x male was placing clean glasses in the fridge and 1 x female was writing on the menu board. Neither of them acknowledged myself waiting even though they were aware I was there and continued doing what they were doing whilst joking and chatting to each other. I continued to stand there for a few more minutes as they kept on chatting with each other and 1 x female got down off the ladder and back up again to write the menu. When the 1 x male finally served me, nil apologies for the wait or just a general greeting. WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!!

What an excellent find. Lovely food at really reasonable prices, absolutely would come back again. the Waitress was extremely busy but always smiling, the atmosphere was just like a pub should be. We loved it. The manager and staff were wonderful... Cannot wait to come back!!!
