Freeman's Little New York - Halifax

When you're having midnight cravings this is definitely the place to order from. Their pizza is quiet good. Not to mention they always deliver quick!

We loved our visit!. My husband I were referred to try Freeman 's on Quinpool by friends in the area, and we had a great experience! First, the staff were wonderful. Very friendly and prompt. Second, the food was awesome! They were featuring a 'local special '; a chipotle and guacamole burger. Absolutely delish. My husband had their pizza and was very happy. Good sized crust, perfect about of sauce and fresh toppings(REAL bacon). The atmosphere is welcoming, with great oldies music. We love this place and will be coming back!

Considering Halifax is a ghost town after10 PM this place could get by being mediocre... however this is not the case. Great food good beers on tap including crafts.

This nice 'lil joint has nothing to do with NY but I gotta say it 's good. Visiting from KY, USA and walked past. Stopped and had a couple local microbrews and some pizza. Pizza and beer were pretty darn good. Service was good though not terribly friendly. Although I must post a disclaimer. They were pretty busy, and working their butts off. so this can be excused. I 'd say drop in. Pizza is fresh tasting and good. Though the music played on stereo threw me for a loop. Did not seem to me to be appropriate for crowd. I actually heard the theme song from 'perfect strangers ' tv show. Thought it was a joke but it wasn 't. Try it anyway. You won 't be dissappointed

Tasty pizza and local draught beer. After 9 on a Sunday night, there was practically nothing apart from burger/fast food joints open, until we walked past Freeman's. From the outside, it looked interesting. As we walked in, we were greeted and told the bar and kitchen were still open. Halifax's Propeller Brewery beers (mostly ales) were on tap. Honey Wheat Ale and IPA went down very well with the Philly Cheesesteak on multigrain crust pizza. I wasn't so sure about the Philly Cheesesteak originally, but my first bite changed my mind. The toppings were nicely done, as was the crust (a bit crispy, a bit chewy) and not greasy.
