Alexandra's Pizza - Halifax

I'm not a huge fan of their pizza, but they definitely have the best garlic fingers I've had in the city, and their poutine is great as well. They don't charge for delivery, which is a nice bonus, and they're usually pretty fast.

Love the pizza here, garlic fingers are delicious and the staff is very friendly. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a slice

We ordered online which was a bit confusing at first. after getting through that and getting our pizza delivered the pizza was good. We were able to order more toppings on one side than the other which was good for those who didn't like one topping.

I travel back and forth from West coast to East coast every other month.Every time I'm in Halifax and surrounding area I like to try someplace new.This time it was Alexandra's!!Out of the 3 pizza joints I've tried Alexandra's is the best.Had a medium pepperoni, bacon, mushroom pizza and medium cheesy garlic fingers delivered.They said 40-45 mins and it was delivered in about a half hour.The crust is crunchy, plenty of cheese, toppings and sauce without making the crust soggy. Only negative was the garlic sauce for the garlic cheese fingers was too runny for my liking.Will definitely order from there again

I ordered from here last night and was given a horrible vibe by the delivery guy. It had taken me a minute to organize the money for my order as a friend and I had ordered together. After answering the door, my friend asked if we could pay with debit (not knowing that I had requested cash) and the delivery guy responded in a very unfriendly manner that he had been told cash and that he did not have the debit machine. I then had to run and grab cash to cover the entire order, which may have taken me a minute to do. I returned with $42 to cover the $37.15 order and $4.85 for a tip. After handing the cash to the delivery guy, he briefly looks at it and asks, "You don't have another 15 cents?" in an annoyed tone. I told him that I gave him $42 after which he apologized and hurried away. I work in the service industry and would never, ever, ever make the assumption that someone under paid me unless I was 100% sure of it. The fact that the delivery guy made a mistake is fine. It happens. But how the delivery driver made no effort other than glancing at a bunch of folded bills to ensure that he was given the correct amount was not okay. It creates an awkward situation for the customer that should be avoided unless you are sure. Clearly the delivery guy was ticked off because he thought I hadn't tipped him. And proceeded to make the business look bad by making this poor assumption. My friend and I did not appreciate the experience at all. Food was good as always though.
