Halfway To Hana - Haiku

This is the best banana bread we've ever tasted! We also tried a pineapple smoothie, which was quite delicious. We ended up eating about half of the banana bread loaf in the parking lot before deciding to go back and buy another one before we left.

I stopped here to grab some banana bread since another recommended place was sold out. The bread was wonderfully dense and incredibly delicious. It’s definitely worth a quick stop to refuel for the remainder of your drive.

I absolutely loved the fresh pineapple smoothie! It was so refreshing during a hot drive. I also tried the famous banana bread, which was delicious, although I’m not sure it was worth the $10 price tag. But who cares when you’re on vacation in Maui? They also offered hot lunch options and had some tables where you could take a break from the road. It’s a fantastic stop on the way to Hana!

This is a nice little stop. It has high prices, but considering it's location, I don't blame them for charging what they do. We paid $9 each for pineapple smoothies, which were very good, and split a $9.50 loaf of banana bread, which was also good. There were picnic tables set out for groups, and patrons had the option of ordering a hot dog if they wanted something more substantial. They provide clean and covered garbage cans for when you are done earing.

Pineapple smoothie wasn’t great. Totally overpriced but nana bread was decent. $9 a small loaf. Good but not great
