MJ's Diner - HAGERSVILLE

MJs is a no-frills eatery with delicious food and welcoming service. The prices are fair and I have always loved the meals I've had at this restaurant.

I have been to this restaurant several times and the food as always great and well priced. As far as the service goes it's always a pleasure unless we get the tall girl with the glasses. Visited MJ's Monday July 3. She is extremely rude, forgets (I think she forgets some of our order or is just being rude to us). Makes herself busy when we want to pay our bill, walking aimlessly by several times when we are standing at the counter. Does not acknowledge us until she absolutely has to. We don't know this lady personally so I dont know what her problem is even though we tip her well. (We have always assumed she is not having the best day) But now after about the 3rd or 4th time with her attitude we realize she is just plain ignorant. The rest of the staff is fabulous and we have never had a bad meal, however if we return again and get this type of service from her again it will be the last time EVER

Nice clean place, went with a friend severvice was about average but the food was cold the home fries were burnt from a previous plate were cold the plate was warm the food was not will wait another year an try again who knows one day maybe they will get it right disappointed again

We go there every sunday for brunch. Good food, friendly crowd, staff included. Not fancy but there are lots of choices. You won't find this food at these prices anywhere else. Will be there next weekend.

I usually have a good experience at this restaurant. This day, after checking the hours online -open until 3pm - I pulled into the parking lot at exactly 1:54. As soon as we were entering the restaurant the waitress tells us everything has been shut off and they aren't serving anymore. There was over an hour left until closing!! Customers in restaurant as well as some pulling into the parking lot and they decide to close early?? Very unprofessional. We were very disappointed.
