Fresno American Diner - Haemeenlinna

The interior is beautiful, calm, and spacious. The staff are extremely pleasant. The burgers (Smash burger, and children's burgers) were all good, nothing special, but good.

Food 5/5 Staff 5/5 Location 5/5 Accessibility 2/5. Restaurant is on the second floor and we did not see elevator. We have visited here now 2 times and both times we have exited with full belly and smiling faces. Su loves their steakes and Tu their burgers. Can't wait to visit Hämeenlinna again because surely we will come here again!?

We came with the local rugby team for after game food and drinks. We preordered our food one day in advance. We ordered three starters in order to get our food rather quick. We had to wait for more than an hour till we got our food. People who came after us (without preorder) had finished their food before we even got ours. Some of the chicken nuggets were ice cold in the middle. That suggests that they started preparing the starters after we started to complain. This was the most dusfunctional restaurant I have been in for a long time. For the record, we did not have to pay. This was a very bad experience!

The service is solid, nothing to complain about there. Same goes for the feel, aesthetic, tables and cleanliness. My issue was with the food. it is quite pricey and the portions aren't massive either. So you expect it to taste great at least. What I had was the pepper steak. I expected to be able to taste the steak more than the pepper. That was not what I got. The potatoes on the side were simple and tasted great. The vegetables were good without the sauce, but they don't work well with a steak. The pepper was overpowering and ruined a good cut of meat and an assembly of vegetables. Please order something else if you ever go here

Nice food, only just watchit if you don't like goats cheese(chevre)!!! I didn't realise what half the stuff was in my burger when ordering, so the goats cheese all got taken out, and you can see it makes up half the burger lovely starters and sweet potato fries though also from the street this place looks closed... you have to open the door and walk up stairs!
