Dahl and Di Luca Every year I return to dining here I am amazed at the level of extraordinary food and service. Lu, was the perfect server allowing us time to relax with our wine, Montelpulciano, and then making a decision for our dinner. Our appetizer, a warm Seafood Bruschetta was overflowing with shrimp making the bread juicy. I would have ordered another one another time) but I knew I had an entree coming!! Oh my, the Veal Piccata was tender and the light lemon sauce was perfection. I don't often order veal because it is usually tough, but this veal could be cut with a fork!! My husband day 11 of our honeymoon) had the Chilean Sea Bass. It's always a treat to have Chilean, especially the way it is prepared here. Amazing. We had to indulge with a Big Tobin James Liquid Love for our desert!! Everything was cooked with love and perfection!! All Lisa Dahl's menu items are terrific. That's why it is always difficult to pick just one!! Harriet D.
Absolutely spectacular. Our waiter was an awesome dude who was extremely helpful and friendly. We had a great time and really enjoyed the food and will definitely be back!
The service was exceptional. It was our anniversary they spread rose petals on the table brought a special dessert. Such a special place ...perfect level of music
I think this place is for people who never had great Italian food. I am highly biased because I grew up in the New York/ New Jersey area and it hits a lot of the marks. The service and ambiance were insanely on point and their professionalism was on point. It had everything a fine dining experience needed but the food just wasn't up to par. The burrata was an interesting dish and said it came with focaccia but it was just this weird toasted bread. It did not have any resemblance to a traditional focaccia. The angel hair pasta that came with the entrees was overcooked and became this weird mush we didn't like at all. The pear budino desert was great but I was confused why they called it a budino when it was ice cream over a pear cake, a budino is usually a pudding. Overall it is a great place but just doesnt hit the true mark of an authentic Italian restaurant.
