Just recently moved to the area and after walking past a few times I decided it was time to actually try it out and stop peering in! Went on a Sunday afternoon around 12 and it was quite busy but no queue. Even though there were lots of people and waitresses milling around it did't feel too cramped or stressful. I had the veggie breakfast which was very nice although I wasn't entirely full afterwards. Hot chocolate is very good, not too chocolatey so it feels slightly healthier! The person I was with had a peanut butter smoothie and absolutely loved it. Very nice atmosphere, good food and they even offer a range of gluten free cakes/pastries.

It was pretty filled at 11 in the morning, but not enough to gather a queue. The interesting thing about this café is the fact that they display local artworks which are also on sale. When I was there two weeks ago, Kate Ardern 's intriguing 'Into The Wild ' paintings were up on the walls, most of them already marked as sold. I got myself a full English breakfast, something I realised that I 'd not yet actually had in this...read more
Situated on the famous Hackney Road (where all the cool people live now) the Long White Cloud is one of East London’s regular haunts for locals in the area. The staff and owners here are incredibly friendly, welcoming and laid back – nothing would be too much trouble for these guys. The one thing i do love about the Long White Cloud is that it plays host to its very own gallery. With white blank canvas walls they exhibit art on behalf of locals, friends and family – you never know quite what to expect. The restaurant is owned and run by two New Zealand ladies, Zuzie and Niki – two fabulous ladies i should mention as well. We dined here in the evening, which ended up being one of...read more
