88 Rice Shop - Hackensack

Yummy dim sum in a new location. Definitely coming back. It is on par to dim sum in NYC Chinatown. It is not a traditional dim sum restaurant and is designed more as a takeout spot but there is some seating for 4 people max.

Food was really good. A must try. Authentic style. Rices and soups absolutely delicious.

Maybe I should have stuck with the dim sum like everyone else. I ordered one of the soups instead because I was craving it badly. Unfortunately the soup was super bland and unsatisfying. The fried dumplings were good but on the cold side. If you go, stick to the dim sum.

Just came from the hackensack location for the first time. The setting is great, place is small and clean. The food is great except the soy sauce is extremely salty than any ordinary soy sauce.i like the setting of having just a few items on the menu. Service is okay. I like the no tip policy very unusual. But understandable due to the crazy pandemic.

Good place, delicious dim sum. Decent amount of space to eat inside. I'm glad that there's another dim sum restaurant around besides 99Ranch and Dim Sum Dynasty!
