I love how fresh all ingredients are, I never find anything devastated or less ripe than it should be, and the parts of all ingredients are perfect. the croissant is always perfect texture, robust enough to hold a sandwich together, but never hard or dry. Sweet kartoffel fries are fantastic I think I could eat on those all day! their regular fries are also delicious. the burgers are also very good and quite large. Unfortunately, they have a fairly limited dessert menu, and what they have is really very expensive for dessert elements. everything on the Dessert menu is between $10 and $12. that seems really high for a piece of cake or a few cronuts. at the moment they have only four items on the Dessert menu and two of them are the same thing in different quantities. as a delivery driver I had good and bad experiences. they have a nice little waiting area for us to sit in which is not something else I appreciate. but I expect to wait between 5 and 10 minutes when I pick up an order from there. I don't think I've waited more than 15. the employees usually ignore us when we enter and go to the waiting area. they are not unfriendly, but also not very friendly.
Denice was our waiter and she was absolutely fantastic. very attentive, nice, redigatiw and even we got refilled that we didn't need or ask, just because the kitchen was closed (round out, we needed her lol). eating was delicious as after the usual and I didn't complain any other than my burger had a tomate on her when I asked no one, but that's okay, at the end I didn't even notice because the service was so good. denice deserves a enlarging when any higherups read this!
Our journey to this red robin was disappointing, but we start with the good:1. the text system to let them know when their table is available is an enormous improvement to try to hear their names screamed in a loud restaurant.2 the servers were all very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. and now, the bad:1. red robin has missed with what is probably the best dessert of all time, the mile high mud pie. that was actually the whole reason why we went to dinner to get that at the celebration of my wife's birthday and the first tournament of my daughter. 2 it's so crazy loud in there, you have to scream to hear everything someone says on your table. the music is much too loud.3 the digital entertainment screen on its table tries to sneak it for unlimited play access when they type an ad that looks like a trivia question. it then has a huge CONTINUE button, with a much smaller notification below that tells them they will be charged $1.99 when they continue. overall it was a pretty meh experience compared to previous red Robin trips in different cities. I would not refuse to go there if I were invited, but I will never recommend that we go back there.
We started our experience with a cold introduction from our server rafael. was not inviting at all. we felt like we needed a bit. After we had taken our drinks order and started and our order, we were in the necessity of refilling and he was on the bar on his handy with headphones, although we were visible from the bar. there were only other 2 tables, so there was not much to do, if it hadn't been for the other server caatelyn to pick up his slack, I wouldn't run out. she was warm and attentive when she brought us food and refilled. eating was great, but would probably not be back to this place due to the service we receive today.
Three adults, two children, over $100 at a burger joint! I realize in these times, costs have increased, but $20/person with 2 kids meals? But the real disappointment was the condition of the restaurant. Dirty floors, bathrooms atrocious. You would think a restaurant at Gurnee Mills, which attracts many shoppers would be in better conditions. I don't know if it's a trend, but it seems many restaurants are in similar shape and the consumer just accepts this rather than writing their experience and/or avoiding this business. I will not return to this business.
