Primo Italian American Cuisine - Gurnee

I'm not one that is easily impressed by most restaurants, as most are simply the same. The food is best, the noise level is one in which you can scream a lot to a conversation with the one you sit on your table, the variety of spices they choose, in their kitchen is minimal and the food is generally either tasteless or oversalted. The selection, service and food have impressed me very much. Gus, the face of the facility came by to talk to my friend, and I, to find out what brought us in and what we were looking for in our culinary experience, offers a few choices on the way. As soon as the food came, it was not disappointed, and his descriptions were not only accurate, but spot on. We separated a Tiramisu three ways and it was one of the best Tiramisu I had ever been in Italy. I hope to find them to be consistent as if that were the case, I am sure my husband and I will be customers again. Thank you for a nice evening. (Side Note: Shannon, our server, was friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu, a refreshing surprise for someone as young as she seemed.

I booked yesterday a surprise birthday dinner Primo, they were very accepted my expectations. The staff that the service was great. They had furnished a private room, the food was also great (not to mention the wine). They had the candles I asked for the cake that was a bonus. If you are looking for a place to book a dinner party Primo is a must to try not to remain silent, you do not have to go all the way to the city for fine food great food.

We were looking for a Grayslake restaurant to celebrate my friend's birthday, and a friend of us called us Primo! I have to say as soon as we went to the restaurant, we were impressed! The ambience was a 10s and once the service was top notch! Our waiter made this celebration we will never forget! All efforts have been made to please us! From great service to delicious food! Thank you, Primo and your staff that you take care of us very well while you dinning in your facility!

Great, delicious food. Extremely professional staff, we are always happy with any experience here. The waiting staff is always at the top of things, and we feel really well maintained here. They treat everyone with respect and like a family. I always recommend this place to people!

Service was really just ok. took an hour to get seated (should have made reservations before hand… someone seated another couple at our table by accident so we had to wait longer to get seated. food was great and definitely made up for the wait! great wine, steak was cooked perfectly and was insanely tender, and they brought out a beautiful slice of cake for my moms birthday with a cool candle that SHOT flames into the air. would definitely come back for the food alone!!! thanks!
