China Red - Guernsey

This was my second visit to the restaurant during my time on the island, and I had a great experience once again. The vegan mock duck pancakes were delicious. This time I tried a different dish—the tofu and cashews in yellow bean sauce—and it was fantastic! There are plenty of clearly labeled vegan options available.

I ordered a takeaway from China Red (for collection only) and used their app to place my order. I appreciated the option to select 'vegan' for all the vegetarian dishes, which meant there were plenty of vegan options to choose from. Overall, it was a delightful Chinese takeaway experience!

The food is delicious, but there are only a few vegan choices available. Many of the vegetarian dishes appear to lack creativity and effort.

I ordered takeout from China Red (collection only), and I was able to customize my meal through their app to make all the vegetarian options vegan. There are so many vegan dishes to choose from! It made for a lovely farewell dinner with a Chinese twist!
