After receiving a recommendation for lunch with the locals, I was truly impressed by the friendliness of the owner, Ali, and her staff. There were five of us, each ordering at different times, but our meals came out hot and promptly. The menu offered a great variety of fresh options. Even though we were visiting for the day from a cruise and decided to take a taxi to The Captain's, I believe that speaks volumes about its accessibility. The restaurant was bustling with locals enjoying their lunch, which is always a great sign. Thank you, Ali and the team, for a delightful few hours!

The staff is very friendly, and the food is excellent. They truly embrace the charm of this traditional Guernsey pub style. It's great value for the money, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. I highly recommend it to all my friends!
