Pierre's Poutine - Guelph

Whenever I want a quick bite to eat, I stip in here. Very generous portion of poutine, Pop and poutine is a satisfying meal. Great selection of other foods too, I feel well looked after here. Some menu deals for the budget conscious. All around a favourite.

Once again, change your hours online. Update your website . Thursday hours until 3am? Funny you go there at 2 and the doors are locked lights are old, closed. Second time now on a different night of the week where you're not open during your stated hours. It's not hard to update a website. Food is alright, service? Joke.

This is as close to authentic poutine as you can get in Guelph. The gravy is excellent and the fries are well done. I have not tried anything else on the menu so I cannot speak to that. As is usually the case with poutine, it is heavy and heart attack inducing but hey that's the point! A little bit expensive for a small size but is worth it if you have a craving. If you are looking for Quebec style poutine with the "squeaky" curds... this is your place.

The poutine is pretty good, the hotdogs are not the best. The coleslaw they use for the hotdogs is too vinegary and they put too much on along with too much mustard and relish and onions, so the hotdogs become very cold. the prices are a little high too. Overall good poutine and good steamy dogs just need to improve on the toppings!

This is the kind of poutine I grew up eating. It's just like the chip trucks from my hometown which I always thought were the best kind. So glad I found this place, will be going back for sure!!
