Eggcetra Deli - Guelph

This was hands down the best breakfast I've ever had! We had to wait a little when we arrived, but it was definitely worth it. I can't wait to come back! I enjoyed every moment of the experience.

The food is outstanding, with a great selection available. However, what really makes this restaurant stand out is the welcoming staff, who maintain their friendliness even on the busiest days.

I stumbled upon this restaurant last year while traveling, and it quickly became one of our favorite places. Now, we make the 25 to 30-minute drive every couple of weeks on the weekends. The food is always superb, and we’ve only had one minor issue with service. Our favorite server, Tara, is always friendly and remembers our preferences from past visits. This is definitely the best breakfast spot within an hour's drive, especially if you're seated in Tara's area!

It was bustling when we arrived, which is always a promising sign! We had a thirty-minute wait at 11 AM, but the staff welcomed us warmly and seated us right at the end of that wait. Our server was friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. We really appreciated that our water was served promptly after we were seated; it felt like a nice touch. The food came out within 15-20 minutes and was exceptional! Everything was fresh, hot, and bursting with flavor. The coffee was also very good! The prices are reasonable considering the generous portion sizes, making the quality of the dishes well worth it. I look forward to making the drive back many more times. Thank you! As for parking, there's plenty available in the plaza next to the Tim Hortons.

We had breakfast on a Thursday in March, and even though the restaurant was busy, we were seated quickly. The service was prompt, but overall it was just average. Unfortunately, our server didn’t come back to check on our meals, which was disappointing, especially since my potatoes were cold and unappetizing. I would have liked to have them replaced, but they ended up sitting untouched. My eggs Benedict were mediocre, although my wife enjoyed her skillet dish. In retrospect, I wish we had picked a different restaurant. I cannot recommend this place.
