It was a great experience. that was my second visit. I had the salmon salad and it was really good. I'm glad to be here soon.

Absolutely delicious! our server was very helpful and made great suggestions. the polnta was made perfect and everything had exactly the right amount of flavor. this should be a weekly lunch place for them when they are in the greenwood area!

I do not recommend this establishment. The food service was slow and so were the water refills. We are visiting Greenwood for the first time and wanted to try one of the local eateries. This place came highly recommended but fell short of the high praises. I had the tenderloin with asparagus and spinach in a pesto sauce. Please look at the picture...I cut the tenderloin hoping it would be medium rare...it was not. It was so overcooked and dry, that I didn't finish it. I was given 4 overcooked pieces of asparagus and a fork full of spinach that was swimming in a pesto oil mixture. The presentation was trash! My guest had a ribeye that was also overcooked, the entree was supposed to come with steak fries. The fries were like shoestring fries but without the seasoning. A rather oblivious waitress offered water to the table across from us but seemed offended when I asked for a refill. I mean really offended.The entrees were a complete FAIL. I will say the appetizer, beets, was surprisingly good but again presentation was awful. The fried green tomatoes were pretty good but not seasoned well. Almost forgot the salmon salad, the salmon was overcooked and prepared way ahead of the salad. The salad was dressed but the dressing was not tasty at all...just wet. I think there was half of a grape tomato among the overly saturated greens. The dinner was a major FAIL!

Best restaurant in Greenwood; MS. Downtown. Easy to walk. Parking on the street. Walk Downtown Greenwood for one hour. Maybe 20 stores.

Fan Johnny's is definitely the restaurant to visit if you enjoy fine dining at an affordable price. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The alligator nuggets were the best I've had in years. I was really impressed with the Duck Confit w/home made ravioli accompanied by an exquisite sauce. Definitely going back one day. We have only been gone a week my family still talk about the quality of the food. Blessings to The Chefs the staff. This place deserves a spot on television!
