I've tried 4 of their cakes and must say that although they are not the best cakes in london, they are a square meal for under £8! go to the lamb and rosmarin cake if you still have a place or have someone to share, their dessert crumbs are also great!
Amazing cake! a part are huge and worth it. we followed the recommendation of the staff on the pairing of cakes with sauces and drinks and they were on site!
Restaurants with old English classics like pie, mash and jellied eel are nowadays a dying breed. so it is always good to come over one who tries to keep the flame alive. eating is not the spiciest thing they find, but people do not come here to search tikka masala and the staff can offer some helpful suggestions to live the food. the prices are also quite cheap considering that this is london.

Baked, was...read more
I usually like pies have a good crusty pastry but I thought since I was in England, I might as well follwed their tradition, which was to eat pies with gravy huge mistake. Ordered the traditional beef ones, they poured lots of gravy all over your pies. By the time I sat down, the pies were soggy and all I could taste was the gravy. Pastry was too thick too. Luckily they were cheap.
