Przekaż informację zwrotnąSun Dawg was highly recommended and was very disappointed last weekend. We were pleasantly surprised to sit on a busy Saturday, but the experience went downhill from there. The service- Our server came and took our beverage order and placed it with the bar. She came back and gave my drink, but told my partner that they couldn't make his drink. He ordered another drink and she left. We've seen the bar make the drink and brought her to it. After 15 minutes without a sign of our server, I went and asked someone to clear a table if they could send him over. She came over a few minutes later and was full of excuses. We both worked in the service industry and have patience and respect for the hard work servers. She still didn't drink. I asked her to get it and put a food order. The food- my partner ordered the Alaskan plate salmon, eggs, potatoes, tomatoes and avocado. The avocado was clearly mixed (not in fresh pieces) and came directly from a truck. Right with the potatoes. I ordered an iron man frittata. It was best inconspicuous. It looked more like a drum than a real frittata. The eggs inside were runny, the whole reason I ordered something with boiled eggs. Overall- while we do not keep the service against them and perhaps try again, we will not be based on the quality of food. We were offered a discount for our problems - $5 discount that is less than 20% from our bill.
It is in a small town in Pennsylvania, but I still recommend a reservation when you go during the weekend brunch hours. The owner or owner spouse has celiac so that the menu is wonderful for everyone with celiac. I had the smoked salmon on a gluten-free bagel with cream cheese and an egg over hard, and I'm not upset about it.
I met a friend for lunch and it was absolutely delicious! I got the shrimp tacos and they were so good. It was the perfect place to meet for lunch. Service was good, food and drinks were delicious. The menu was eccentric and a nice surprise from the typical predictable menu you see at most restaurants which made me so excited to go back and try other things!
We had a great Saturday morning breakfast at Sun Dawg this past weekend. It's the best breakfast food I've had since moving to Greensburg 3 years ago. They have a lot of unique art, several pieces from local artists were on display, I wish I had taken pictures, next time I will. Great food, great staff, good vibes.
Restaurant with a healthy spin, healthy portion sizes. So uncommon in American dietary options, which was a nice reprieve. Food was a bit slow in coming out, but it was good. Staff were attentive even offered a complimentary cookie at the end to our patient kids!
