Jioio's Family - Greensburg

I've eaten the pizza since I was very small, over 50 years. And my grandparents eat it in the 50s. That's my favorite pizza. It is so unique and absolutely delicious. Absolutely iconic. If you love pizza, you have to experience it.

I would love to give my favorite pizza a 5 star rating but our service could hardly be called service. It's a small, intimate dining room. 6 tables on one side and 6 or 7 tables on the other side, so not huge. After how long it took for anyone to take drink orders we started timing how long it took for the drinks to arrive, salads showing up and ect. Our waitress spent less than 5 mins TOTAL with us. No idea why that was considered acceptable. It was very, very disappointing. Jioio's is always a stop for me when I come home to Greensburg. I may rethink that stop. Definitely will consider takeout.

Normally I would rate this place a five every time we love the pizza so much. Although we don?t live nearby anytime we are in the area we always stop and get their pizza because we love that pastry crust. This time the crust was just so black on the bottom and it was so dry you could not savor any of that sweet crust. We noticed a sign hanging in the dining room that said are crust or not cooked lightly but baked in a 500° oven and charring is normal but eating the pizza today, that?s all you could taste was that black char. I left disappointed wanting the pizza I always had before.

Called and made a last second order for a pizza wings. I think it was a half hour before close and they took the order. I was appreciative of that as this is one of my fav pizza's and I don't have a chance to get it often. It was ready right on time at 830 and they were nice about it. Thank you. And low key, their wings have the best breading!

Our go-to pizza place for take out! Our order is always ready when we arrive perfectly cooked. The pepperoni pizza pierogi pizza are our favorites!
