Lai Yuen - Greenlane

Our local takeout spot is run by a hardworking family, but unfortunately, the food lacks care and effort. The toasties we ordered were terrible, and despite giving it a second chance, they were still not up to par. The fried food is overcooked and the oil needs changing, while the burgers are disappointing as well. We used to order from here frequently to support local businesses, but after this experience, we will not be returning. It's disappointing, but they need to improve the quality of their food.

I frequent this local takeaway in Glendene regularly. While it may not be the most exceptional takeaway around, the prices are reasonable and the food is good. I have no complaints and visit at least once or twice a week. The staff are friendly and the food is always cooked quickly. If you are in Glendene and craving fish and chips, I would recommend trying out Lai Yuen.
