Axolotl - Graz

Nice English speaking (Scottish) staff with food and table soccer ! “Gast Garten“ offers a good view to a nearby cathedral which is one of the largest buildings of Graz

Axolotl is a place often frequented by the many students of Graz and offers cheap, yet good quality meals. There is often a "Tagesmenu" (a set of starter, main meal and dessert) for a good price. I prefer to go in summer when you can sit outside and don't have to sit in a room of smoke, although the smoking ban in Austria will come into place in 2018.

Nice little one can sit outside or pick one of the three floors inside. but respect all areas are smoker areas. in the cellar there is a kicker table and a seating group. the furniture is not the most modern and has made a rather shaky impression in the cellar, but somehow it is cozy. the toilets were clean and the operation very friendly. we also had chili con carne. So I can't join my previous speaker that it was the hammer. we regularly make chili home that tastes much better than this. However, the price/performance ratio is in order and for the small hunger when you are traveling with friends, that also fits. I wouldn't go extra though.

In the axolotl it is always super! the service is perfect, the beer is always cold and it is always funny. the chef cooks from Monday to Friday to midday various menus that are always freshly prepared and taste totally delicious. also in the evening we are supplied by various delicacies. the chilli con cane is the hammer! there can't be a local stop!
