El Azteca - Grayslake

Excellent Mexican food. Everything tastes great and is fresh. The horchata is homemade and so are their chips and salsas. Makes for a delicious starter Everytime. Overall I love the environment and the food is so tasty. It's similar to my mom's home made cooking. And that's saying something, most Mexican Restaurants do not have that home cooked meal taste or quality. This one does. The enchiladas verdes are my favorite dish

Huge amount of steak in our steak taco salads!! Excellent amount of guacamole, sour cream and cheese too!! Very nice and friendly staff. Here again a few weeks later... Same as before...everything is wonderful! Server is a delightful friendly woman.

The food is amazing (cecina, al pastor, asada), and the dude who rung me up was so friendly. Apparently he makes the awesome sauce too. Watch out for the red sauce. It's awesome but it's fire. Literal fire. Green sauce is really flavorful.

Discovered this place when I moved to Grayslake. Delicious food and great service. Guacamole is amazing!

This place has the best cow tongue!! It may not be for everybody it's an acquired taste.
