Watershed At The Owl - Grass Valley

I enjoyed my entire culinary experience with Watershed in Owl. Ambience of a stand in low lit bar with old world swag had totally relaxed me. The food was served hot and fresh. Breads and salads were delicious. Oysters in the half dish were particularly fresh and crisp with taste. The staff was friendly and not overloaded while relaxing over the kitchen.

I had an incredible experience here! This place is the ideal replacement for the Owl and a fantastic addition to Grass Valley. The food is comforting yet wonderfully innovative, and I really appreciate the family-oriented concept. The aromas are spot-on, and the atmosphere is just right. Highly recommended!

The food was fantastic and our waitress, I believe her name was Robin, was wonderful. I ordered the pulled pork while my husband had the eggplant sandwich. Delicious!

Our group sampled several items from the new menu during our visit last night. The Pea Shoot Salad was by far the best salad I’ve had in ages, and the Roasted Peach Farro Salad was equally delicious. My niece ordered the meatball, which was also excellent. We then tried the Crispy Prawns with Grits; while the prawns were fantastic, the grits didn't quite suit our tastes (just a personal preference). And I must mention the Lavender Cake—it was absolutely delightful! Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and would highly recommend trying the new menu. We can’t wait to come back and sample more dishes!

We visited this incredible restaurant during a cross-country trip. Wow! The creative menu, local ingredients and food, excellent presentation and excellent service made this a culinary experience that we will remember for a long time! Beautiful environment makes it even better!
