Twelve 28 Kitchen - Penn Valley

Food was excellent. Mom had Farfalle and I the pork belly. Both were phenomenal. Also got pan roasted duck to take home. They don 't do takeout but give leftover containers for food you couldn 't finish and waitress hooked me up. Definitely getting my business again.

Wow a truly 5 star dining experience for an incredibly reasonable price. The menu is unique and very out of the box in every way, amazing blend of flavors I?ve never had before! Service was extremely personable and left you feeling at home. Out of this world! The staff signed a birthday card that was on the label, and the menus even read ?happy birthday Erik!?.

From seattle, my mom brought me to twelve 28 kitchens! I can't say enough about how amazing this little place is. it is beautifully decorated, comfortable and her solo guitar player was a special addition to the relaxing environment. eating was so delicious, nicely plated and appropriate for the quality culinary experience. the menu offers unique seasonal dishes that change from time to time, all made from ground up, and we found it difficult to narrow our decisions. we had two appetizers, a roasted chicken dish and a risotto dish all absolutely outstanding. our hosts and server were so friendly, and we loved the additional touch of two mini hot cookies that have arrived with our back. I cannot wait to visit again; and this will be my first stop! Thank you, 1228!

We love this place! robin is amazing and always treats us like family. eating is not so good. the inherited tomatensalat is still one of the best bites. Simply unbelievable and I am so grateful that they are in our city. many thanks for bringing us this perfect eating experience.

When visiting my dad, we came across this amazing restaurant. The carefully curated, fresh, local ingredients were an epic delight. The pork chop melted in the mouth and my friend had the duck breast that was made perfect. My husband had the fresh pasta with figs and sausages. Perfect mix of spices with unexpected touches. The waiting staff was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. We recommend and will definitely be back!
