The Original Pancake House - Grapevine

I had a delightful breakfast here. The wait time was 15 minutes at 11:00 AM on a Saturday. The coffee was excellent—simple but really good, especially with cream and maple syrup for sweetness. Suzanne ordered the 2x2x2, and I went for the Bacon Steak. Both dishes were delicious!

OPH is my absolute favorite breakfast spot in the entire country. I adore their waffles; they're simply the best! Their pancakes are heavenly, especially the chocolate chip pancakes.

The menu offers a wide variety of pancakes, along with waffles, omelets, and other breakfast favorites. I tried the original pancakes topped with strawberries. I was pleased with the generous amount of strawberries, but the pancakes themselves were just average—perhaps I expected more. However, others in my group enjoyed their meals. The restaurant has plenty of seating and a friendly staff. There's also a good amount of parking available. Prices are comparable to IHOP.

If you want an original pancake, this is the place for you and your family. Buttermilk pancakes, omelettes, bacons, avocado on rich bread, and cannot forget the sweet tea with lemonade. I recommend this place if you are in Dallas, Texas. The service was friendly and helpful.

The buttermilk pancakes were my favorite. I wish there were more to choose from the menu but this is a decent spot for a chill family breakfast.
