Looks closed and looks like a dump. But the food is excellent. The lunch special can't be beat Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20
I was looking for authentic Thai food, but this place didn't deliver. The outside of the building should of been a clue, run down. The inside was just as bad. The food tasted more like Chinese food than authentic Thai food. For appetizer ordered fresh spring rolls. The rolls were gummy and mostly lettuce. A sad, unspicy dip came with it. The chicken satay was tough and hard to chew, again-no spice, very bland. When I ordered Tom Kha Gai, I thought they would ask the spicy level, but they did not, second clue. Service was slow, staff didn't come around during the meal to check on us. I won't go back.
A year ago, we relocated to Granbury from Dallas, where Thai cuisine is everywhere. Pad Thai is my husband's absolute favorite dish, so dining out or ordering in Thai was a regular occurrence for us. There's no way I could replicate what a skilled chef can prepare. We really missed having good Thai food—until we discovered Thorp Spring Thai! Their Pad Thai and drunken noodles were authentic, and the Tom Kha Gai was incredibly delicious. The young lady who waited on us was also a pleasure. If you're curious about Thai food or already a fan, you have to check this place out!
I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! I dined in for lunch and found the prices very reasonable, around $10 to $20 per person. The food was exceptional, earning a solid 5/5 rating. The service was equally impressive, also a perfect 5/5. The atmosphere was inviting and enjoyable, again deserving a 5/5. I highly recommend trying the Thai Fried Rice and Orange Chicken; they were both delicious!
