The appetizers were wonderful and I encourage you to get one of the samplers, with aromas of spicy (sausage and cheese dip) and too sweet (Bree and Pears Baguette) to Savory (bruschetta). The soups were excellent, especially the sausage soup that had a beautiful subtle blend of flavors. The ducks were also excellent, especially the filled lobster and the shrimps and grits. Honestly, Dessert also deserves the highest praise and our family was lucky to share a number of options. The bread pudding was perfect. The most important lime cake was the best we ever had with a beautiful lime taste without the excessive bite and sugar so often for the dish. The carrot cake was also not too sweet, but exactly right, and the pecan pie even had a rum taste that was beautiful. Of course, the servers want to do the best they really love for the Mäzen and the owner what he does and want to ensure the highest quality food and service possible. The prices were also the best value I have ever seen for the quality of food. You could actually spend less than you enjoy in a chain restaurant (depending on what you have ordered) and still enjoy top quality cuisine. We look forward to returning to the future and try other items on the menu.
Last night, we brought a group of 8 people to Christinas restaurant. The food was amazing - the best meal we've ever had in Granbury. We each tried different dishes because everything looked so delicious! The prime rib and stuffed lobsters were to die for. In addition to the delicious food, the pianist was excellent, playing a variety of songs. The atmosphere was wonderful.
Christina's Bistro is my top choice for dining in Granbury. With its exceptional food quality and service, as well as a cozy and inviting Granbury-style atmosphere, it is a favorite spot of mine to bring clients for lunch and friends and family for dinner. Whether you're looking for a romantic night out with your significant other or a fun girls' night out, Christina's is the perfect choice. I have never had a negative experience with their food and highly recommend giving it a try if you haven't already. It's definitely worth the drive to Granbury.
I rarely rave about businesses, but I have to make an exception this time. My friend Madeline and I recently had an amazing meal at Christina's Bistro on the square in Granbury, Texas. Gary has truly outdone himself with this fine restaurant, and his exceptional staff surprised us with their top-notch service. Madeline enjoyed the Lobster Salad, while I tried the suffocated salmon. The restaurant's warm and inviting atmosphere, complete with natural stone walls and beautiful woodwork, set the perfect stage for our dining experience. Madeline's wine was served at just the right temperature, and we were seated promptly even without a reservation. The presentation of our meals was impeccable, with generous portion sizes that could satisfy even a Texas Ranch hand. The flavors were spot-on, with perfectly seasoned dishes that didn't require any additional condiments. We ended our meal with a slice of chocolate cake from the pastry chef and some delicious Colombian Coffee. We even had a delightful conversation with our new friends Tammy and Robert at the neighboring table, who highly recommended Gary's Sunday Brunch. I encourage you to visit Christina's Bistro and meet Gary - his passion for food is infectious, and you're sure to have an unforgettable culinary experience.
Probably one of the best meals I have ever had. We started with the bacon wrapped quail sliders which were to die for. Main course we ordered the lobster roll, French onion soup and the lobster avocado salad. All AMAZING. Dessert...creme brule and chocolate chip bread pudding. OMG. They practically had to roll us out of this place. Absolutely fantastic. We will definitely make the hour drive to eat here again and again.
