I visited for the first time and ordered the molcajete bowl. The dish was served in a sizzling giant lava rock bowl shaped like a pig's head, and it included shrimp, chicken, beef, sausage, and more. It came with tortillas, beans, rice, sour cream, and cilantro. The meal was absolutely delicious, and I definitely plan to come back!
This restaurant is a new addition to downtown Grain Valley. We stopped by for lunch a few days before Christmas. The service was a bit slow, and we had to wait longer for our food, even though there was only one other couple in the place. My chimichanga was delicious, but my husband was only so-so about his burrito. The restaurant has the typical feel of an old strip mall in downtown Grain Valley. It was clean and spacious, and I appreciated the handwritten menus, which added to the small-town, Mom-and-Pop vibe—though opinions on that may vary. Overall, our dining experience was positive enough that we plan to return. It's definitely worth trying at least once to see what you think!
I love this local restaurant! Great service! Wonderful authentic options! They even have papusas and those are traditionally El Salvadorian! The service is great! It's never packed when we go, and for the life of me, I can't imagine why more people aren't eating here! I love it! It's local, close and fresh!
The food was okay. Lots of grease in the hamburger. Service was nice but they seemed overwhelmed and took a while to get to you.
