Ban Thai Restaurant - Goulburn

During our road trip from Sydney to Melbourne, we dined at Ban Thai for dinner. We absolutely adored the food! It was fresh, authentic, with generous portions, quick service, and served with a friendly smile. The quality was on par with the good Thai restaurants we have tried in major cities.

While we were in Goulburn, we stumbled upon this restaurant after reading reviews. Despite all the Thai restaurants in the area having similar ratings, we decided on this one because it had the most reviews. And we were not disappointed. This place was bustling, and for good reason. The Penang chicken curry and barbecue beef were delicious! The portions were generous and the flavors were amazing. Thankfully, the restaurant had a large space because we didn't have a reservation, but they managed to find us a table. The staff were lovely and we noticed takeaway bags being handed out quickly from the kitchen. As we left, we saw people waiting outside for a table. We hit the timing just right - superb food. Thanks to the chef!

This is the best Thai restaurant in Goulburn that I have tried. The food is very tasty with generous portions of meat and vegetables. I felt very satisfied and stayed full throughout the day. The staff are very welcoming and the ambience is great. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning to try more items from their menu.

My go to when I need a 'Thai fix ' and some warm hospitality. This thai restaurant also has a decent seafood being miles away from the coast. Enjoyable food for lunch and dinner menu served with a smile. Always a nice touch. Keep it up.

We had the red duck curry and pork belly stir fried with Chinese broccoli tonight. The portions were huge and we had leftovers. The curry was mild but flavourful with a good mix of vegetables in it. The pork belly at some other places can sometimes be too spicy but not here. This meal was only around $40 so also very affordable we always come here when in Goulburn and you should too!
