For local Goolwa residents Wednesday night dinner Birdies is a regular meeting spot. The meal is good value at $20 per head for 3 courses, This includes soup (no choice) , mains with up to 8 choices and dessert with up to 5 choices. The menu varies weekly. Self serve salads, hot vegetables and bread are included.The service is prompt and staff friendly. It is advised to call to book beforehand as the venue is generally fully booked.There is ample parking. Visitors to the town are always welcome, membership of the golf club is not required.

This is a good place for a quick simple pub style meal. Stick to the core menu items such as steak or roast or fried fish and you won't go wrong. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly with quite a few locals. Wine list is limited.
