The sandwiches they serve should definitely be in the BBQ Hall of Fame - I've had hundreds of them myself. Even my late wife Lynette had to have one right after she was born. At 70 years old, and with a collection of high-end guitars, I am still planning on making the trip to Glendale tomorrow to indulge in one of these legendary sandwiches. Pecos Bill's is truly something special! I remember selling the Glendale News Press on the corner of Victory and Sonora when I was around 12 or 13 years old - that was nearly 60 years ago. I can't wait to go back and taste those delicious sandwiches once again.
I have been a longtime customer of Peco Bill, even before I lived around the corner. It is the best restaurant in the city. I love the special sauce they use on their dishes. I highly recommend Peco Bill for any occasion, and I hope to celebrate my birthday there this Sunday.
I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The sandwiches were overly salty and lacked flavor, with a watery and muddy consistency. Adding a sauce would greatly improve the dish. The pulled pork sandwiches seemed to be missing the BBQ flavor and meat pieces, similar to something I could make at home in a Crock Pot. The $8 price seemed a bit high for the quality. The owners were friendly and grateful for the business, but I believe they should taste their food before serving it. The cole slaw was decent, but they were out of the buzz. I prefer to support local businesses, but the food here needs improvement.
Best bbq everywhere. I've been going to pecos bill since I was a kid. the food still tastes the same, very tasty. great grill.
Good, but not what you would expect from BBQ,it is not tomato based
