I asked my eye doctor who’s Armanian/ Russian for the recommendation and decided to try Pardis. On my way there, I passed by Massis, and their parking lot was full and the restaurant was jam packed at 6:30PM. When I got to Pardis, the restaurant was empty and there’s absolutely no customers there. I saw a few UberEats people picked up the orders from there, but that was it. I ordered beef Shish Kabab to go. It was $31. A little pricier than Massis, but I don’t mind paying more for a good quality food. I also tipped $5 in cash. When almost my food was ready, I asked for an utensil and was told they are out of it. How am I supposed to eat without fork and knife? I live 40 mins away from Glendale and I wanted to eat it inside my car. I was so hungry and upset that I demanded my $5 back! I asked for Tahini sauce but the server said that they used to have, but stopped having it, so they gave me jalapeno sauce instead. After I picked up my food, I ate some beef with jalapeno sauce and it has absolutely no taste/ flavors! Did chef forget to season with salt and pepper? I usually eat at Massis, not because they are cheaper but it tastes great every time. Massis never disappoint. They also have my favorite Tahini sauce. And the reason why their restaurant was packed at dinner time, because their food is actually really good. Just to review with a fairness, Pardis looks more upscale and actually their meat is better quality than Massis, and I like their homemade thin bread. It’s unfortunate, but I don’t recommend Pardis for anyone.
Excellent food…excellent service…worth every single mile to drive from OC up here for lunch ??
I was delighted to discover this Place, a cozy restaurant in Glendale that offers authentic and delicious persian food. The menu has a variety of dishes, from salads and appetizers to kebabs and stews. I ordered the soltani and Kabab torsh a juicy and flavorful ground beef skewer, served with fluffy basmati rice and grilled tomatoes. The portion was generous and satisfying. I also tried the mast moosir, a creamy yogurt dip with shallots, and the pinto be. The service was fast and friendly, and the prices were reasonable.
My trip to the restaurant was a blast, and Amin made it even better. Right from the start, he greeted us warmly and suggested some seriously good eats. But, let me tell you, the food was absolutely amazing! It was like a flavor party in every bite, and it looked as good as it tasted. Amin was always there, making sure our drinks were flowing. It was a fantastic night, all thanks to Amin's awesome service and the mouthwatering food.
Highly recommend this restaurant for traditional Persian food in a contemporary, upscale setting. We ordered a variety of appetisers and kabobs and each dish was delicious, well prepared beautifully presented. Portions are extremely generous.Everything from the layout of the menu to the wine list to the immaculate restrooms and, particularly the service, really was top class. Our server, Amin, could not do enough for us added to a perfect lunchtime experience. Thank you!
