Elephant Corridor - Glen Waverley

Elephant corridor is an excellent restaurant in sri lanka that I would normally recommend very. the only thing off about our experience was that it took over 90 minutes to our food from the time we set ourselves. the waiting staff was all beautiful and apologise for several locations for the long waiting period. whatever happened in the kitchen, did not reduce the quality of eating and was a aberration to our previous experience there, so I am sure it did not happen regularly.

We chose the festive banquet, the only very disappointing dish was the mud cancer. it melt as soon as it was placed on the table. a very strong fish smell. not pleasant. no reduction on our bill of $330 for 4.5 ppl.

Fantastic meal and service. Only issue was the noise. A busy night meant a noisy atmosphere but that's ok.

The banquet menu is such so poorly done which created a huge fuss confusion on price and qty etc. Food is very expensive and not worth the value

We have been to EC a couple of times and have found it very noisy, especially as the music is loud as well. For this reason, we requested an outside table, which, unfortunately, was not available. Mind you, we were 15-20 minutes early. We are all elderly, with reduced hearing, so it's a problem when it's so noisy. I think when the place is full, it wouldn't hurt to turn down the music. With that note, your food is delicious and the service is very good, and we will be back. Anthony Redden
