This is Melbourne, East Malvern, quiet sleepy suburbia, wintry weather, big park, activities but nothing much open on the weekends ..... well that was the late 80's when we were living there.These days, there are a few cafe around to cater for your weekend coffee and brunches, this establishment is probably be one of the premier destination judging by the crowd in the morning. It's perfectly located, on the main road, near the junction, just across the Central Park.Renovated older building, homely set up, two storey dining area plus the back and front footpath.Serious coffee set up, Synesso and Proud Mary coffee beans combo.Brunch Menu is solid too, enjoyed my Corn Fritters so did the rest of our group.Enjoyable Sunday brunch, even better now the giant is awaken.

Came here for lunch. I had the greek chicken soup which was hearty and tasty AND not too salty. Had a gentle hint of fennel to it. Accompanying bread also nice and grainy.Coffee was excellent. Will certainly be back for more. Homemade cakes look yum but resisted the temptation. Friendly staff provided good service.

Visited for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Lovely sunny sheltered courtyard and good food and coffe.

The food is always delicious and the service I warm and welcoming. But be warned - you may not be able to resist the cakes. Lost of take home yumminess including jams and chutneys.

Had breakfast here twice recently and never disappointed. Amazing coffee, amazing service and big value and highest quality breakfast ! Dont forget the specials board as this place keeps surprising! Keep up the good work !
