Very authentic and tasty food , I have had veg and non veg entree for my get together at home and regulary take my colleagues for dinner. It is the best Indian restaurant in Melbourne and would always recommend. Homely and good service.

This place has some seriously good food.The tandoori chicken is top notch along with the other meat dishes.Some of the dishes were uncommon.Definitely going back.

Overall experience remain average for Moti Mahal, good ambience, though not matches with the food overall. Attendant aka chef was pretty good, and we visited with one of our guest, and ordered for murg mukhani or butter chicken, dal makhani, malai kofta, naan and also...the veg platter as starter. first the order was not repeated, then starter was not noted/missed, which we didn't reminded, as we were in hurry as well... daal makhni was served without butter (makhan) and it was cold and clearly not the fresh one.... though guest said the butter chicken was good, therefore i would like to rate at least average....

Went there for dinner great staff. Friendly and willing to change the menu to suit clients. The dishes were authentic and the chef was able to understand any special requirements. The owner has a great sense of humour. BYO available as well.
