Przekaż informację zwrotnąI ordered takeaway on Friday night, but it was far from quick. The staff seemed inexperienced and our small order took 30 minutes. I frequent the Fitzroy restaurant, and this Ormond location is not up to par. The manager should hire more staff as customers were ignored in favor of Uber drivers. This was the worst experience, and I will not be returning.
Jimmy Grants appears to be understaffed as it took quite a while to receive our food after placing our order. There was only one girl managing the orders and delivering meals. However, when we finally got our food, the Mr. Papadopoulos souvlaki was satisfactory with nice chunks of meat. The spit-roasted chicken was also well-cooked. The highlight for me was definitely the chips, as they were the best item we tried.
The souvas were small and not very satisfying. It wasn't worth trying again, as it mainly consisted of lamb and chips with no salad or other toppings.
Good size, meals could be larger, chips very well cooked and beer was ice cold. Would visit again with friends when in the area.
Jimmy Grants is a retro themed, disco decor eatery. Traditional souvlaki has been turned on its head with creativity and taste. Drinks and dessert is expensive though with $7 for a choc top that the kids didn't like much at all. $7-8 for a bottled beer is a bit rough.
