Good Uber Eats option too, as curry doesn't mind sitting in a heat bag for a while. The staff are lovely, and they know their stuff. The manager/boss spent ages last time explaining to me the pros and cons of various types of chili for use in Indian cooking. The prices are reasonable in my view, and the quality of the ingredients is pretty good for the cost. I believe the main factor that stops Glassy Junction from being more popular is sub-optimal location and the building its located in, as it doesn't look like it'll be good. I hope they can thrive (hence why I wrote this review TBH), because it's our favourite Indian in the area and we like the people behind it.
We had 3 home deliveries before we ventured out to dine at this place. Well, the takeaways take their time to be delivered, and dining in was no different - even though we were the only 2 people in the whole place! The beers tool 30 mins to be served - there was only one FOH staff and she was also responsible for taking the phone orders and the phone never let up from the time we walked in. However - when the food was eventually served, it was worth the lengthy wait (hate to see it when the restaurant has more than 2 dine-in customers at a time!). Lovely Indian food. As authentic as I know it. Right down our palates.
The food is really bad ! A lot of spicy which you can't taste the food and the prices is not represent the taste at all
Been to this restaurant yesterday with some colleagues. We bough Groupon voucher, Lets talk about the positives first.+ Food was excellent+ Very authentic+ Presentation was brilliant. (see pictures)+ free glass of house wine is good too+ easy to find and good decor now not so good +It was a hassle for them to accept the voucher from beginning , although it didn't say that we cannot use on Weekdays . Have to negotiate a bit before we all can relax and start.. +They have blamed Groupon for the confusion /misprint ... The location or decor didn't do this place any justice. If it weren't for Groupon we would not have thought of visiting. But I have to say the food that we ordered was just beautiful. Not only did they accommodate our kids but also accommodated our taste buds.
