This charming rustic bar is located at the base of the ski slope. It has a unique vibe and offers a menu of classic bar food. They feature a nightly taco special that was excellent, and the cocktails were a lot of fun as well.

I started with a few drinks while browsing the menu, and the bar service was both friendly and efficient. For my meal, I ordered the Sitz Burger and the Buddha Bowl. The food arrived fresh in about 15 minutes and was quite impressive for a bar and grill. Both dishes were well-prepared, beautifully plated, and delicious. This is a great spot for lunch in Alyeska, especially with the stunning mountain view accompanying tasty food and drinks.

I recently tried the smoked salmon taco at the Blueberry Festival, and I have to say, I was disappointed. It's hard to believe that such a lovely fish could be mishandled. The taco desperately needed some salt and a hint of acidity in the salsa. Using zucchini as an ingredient was not a good choice; I initially thought it was a cabbage slaw until I took a bite. The zucchini was soggy and completely overshadowed any flavor the salmon had left. I expected it to be an incredible dish based on its presentation, but it fell short.
