Ames Farm Inn - Gilford

The service at the restaurant on Wednesday was fantastic! Peter was very friendly and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast with a beautiful view.

Cottages weren't too bad. Only downside is there isn't a ton to do once you get up there. Make sure to watch for a big field. There is no sign coming in off of 95 so watch out

Only open seasonally. There is good spread between tables. The servers are all so nice. Can't beat the views from the dining room. No outside seating this year. They've made it through COVID-19. Great breakfast lunch!

We had breakfast at this restaurant and were impressed by the excellent service and delicious meal. We were fortunate to sit at one of the two tables on the veranda with a view of the water. The day was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. The blueberry pancake dish was a hit and overall, the experience transported us to a simpler time. Accessible by tram, this restaurant offers a beautiful atmosphere.

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. It was a nice touch that there was no TV or wifi, which made for a truly relaxing atmosphere. It was our first time there and we were welcomed like family. Our table was located right by the lake and the view was amazing. We loved sipping coffee as the sun rose over the water. We can't wait to return!
