A few years ago, during a pheasant hunt in Gettysburg, we found ourselves looking for a place to eat on Thanksgiving night. The only spot with any activity was a bar, where we were informed upon entering that they were closed for a family dinner. Just as we were about to leave, someone called out to us to come back, reminding us that in that place, we were all family. We decided to stay and ended up having a memorable Thanksgiving meal with the kind and hospitable people there. In the following days, we even went hunting with some of them. Though they may not remember us, we still fondly recall their warmth and generosity to this day.

This is a great place for a meeting with someone and to enjoy a nice lunch afterward. Thank you.

This local cash is operated by a lovely couple, Crispy Carl. They will charm you, serve generous drinks, and discover why you're in town. The other staff were also warm and welcoming. There are plenty of games to play at the bar. We didn't eat there, so we can't comment on that aspect, but the bar area was a lot of fun. There is ample parking nearby.
