Firehouse Drive In - GETTYSBURG

Great food and lunch specialties had the grilled chicken sandwich and it was delicious. to lunch tomorrow.

Had a wonderful and swiftly served lunch with an excellent bacon ranch and chicken wrap. I eyed one of these lovely rolls and had to take one for the road! Great place to stop in during a busy day!

Food was average or a little better. Service was SLOW. The server did at least recognize that and call in back up when the place got busy. Once we finally ordered food came out quickly. I would go again, but not if I was in a hurry.

This restaurant is run by a lovely couple, known as Crispy Carl. They currently serve breakfast and I hope they will soon open for dinner to provide a more personalized experience. My husband and I had a delicious breakfast there today. He enjoyed a generous portion of ham and eggs, while I had a croissant with egg and bacon, with the option to add hash browns or sautéed veggies. The owners are accommodating and said, "We are a yes, we can type of space." The building is clean, well-maintained, and has ample parking. The food is full of flavor, delicious, and easy to enjoy. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff works hard to ensure a pleasant dining experience. The prices are very reasonable, making it a win-win situation all around. The restaurant was bustling with local regulars chatting and enjoying a good meal. If we lived in the area, this would definitely be our go-to breakfast spot.
