Bierstadt Books Beans - Georgetown

The café offered a variety of latte options. I went for the classic latte, while my friend chose the cookie dough latte. I ordered the 20-ounce size, which comes with three shots of espresso. Despite the three shots, I found it quite weak. I tried the cookie dough latte as well, but it was too sweet for my taste. I imagine it would appeal to those who enjoy sweeter drinks. Overall, I would recommend this place, but I'm also interested in trying out some of the other coffee shops in the area, as there are a few worth exploring.

I can't believe how friendly the staff was. They even stayed open late just so we could wait until the road reopened. Since we had our toddler with us, we worried those three hours could feel like a nightmare, but the employees made it much more enjoyable. They gave him toys to play with, chatted with him, and allowed us to set up in their upstairs area. He spent ages going up and down the stairs, and each time, he was greeted with smiles and friendly words from the wonderful ladies working there. The atmosphere was so relaxed, and they had a great selection of books, including some that I read with my son. I can’t imagine how difficult this experience would have been anywhere else—I really don’t want to think about it! Thank you for taking such great care of us!

I discovered this wonderful little bookstore during my recent visit for the Hot Rod Hill Climb. The merchants of Georgetown graciously opened their charming town to us for the weekend, and it was filled with hot rods, classic cars, and plenty of visitors. All I was craving was something sweet to eat along with a glass of milk (since I don't drink coffee). The kind lady at the counter (I regret I didn’t catch your name) took great care of me by serving up a delicious orange cranberry scone and a refreshing glass of milk. After a long day of walking, I appreciated how she set me up in a comfy chair on the back porch, allowing me to relax and recharge. Unfortunately, I didn't have the chance to explore the book selection, but it certainly looked like a delightful spot to spend a quiet afternoon. A huge thank you to Bierstadt and all the other merchants for making us feel so welcome in Georgetown, Colorado. Your town is truly special, and you should be very proud of it!
