Get that local Penang coffee shop experience right here, including long queues and being fenced in by hot kitchenettes. Drinks are RM4-6 for 噢噢 branded coffee, and beef noodles are a whopping RM14 for medium. There's oyster omelette and wantan mee and all the other local staff offerings. Service is lightning fast efficient, but the place could do with a little more cooling. Good luck with parking, or just walk from your AirBnB. Is that still a thing now?
The yingyong drink is special and nice(coffee mixed with tea). Polo bun is good. The toast looks good but did not try. Beef noodles and fried oyster are good too. Price is on the high side.
Got to know this place from a local tattoo artist when I was doing my tattoo in town and had been introducing my friends visiting here ever since. Their beef noodles and oyster omelette are the must-order! The beef noodles broth is flavorful while the oyster omelette is the crispy type which you have to give it a try! But the coffee wasn’t really my type. Service is fast.
Surprisingly good and affordable. We reached there at 730am and other stalls were still preparing food. We had white coffee and their famous toast. The bread is so good and and the coffee has rich aroma. Just be aware that their coffee is still way too sweet for my liking though I told them less sugar.
What a gem of a place! A food court turned into a coffee place, or vice versa. The white coffee is great, we tried both the iced and hot versions and both are good. The toasts are good, it’s interesting to see such a simple dish though as a french person bread is nothing special on its own. The beef noodle soup was the best beef noodle soup I had in 10 years. Last time was somewhere in Hanoi. Wow.
