But the Suikaw (prawn dumpling) is very good, wrapped in a whole prawn with minced meat, a mouthful of dumpling, very satisfying. For those who love deep fried pork lard, u will be excited with the portion they given.
Went there for lunch the other day. Tried wantan mee, pan mee and char koay teow. Wantan mee was great. Noodles was cooked to nice consistency and the sauce was nice. The best part was the wantan. It has thin wrap and full of meat filling.. Pan mee noodle was very nice, springy. The sambal that came with it was awesome too. Char koay teow was cooked by an old lady, and she definitely knows how to make good wok hei CKT. There were 3 prawns in there, and I like that it wasn't very oily. Highly recommended. There is a baked pastries stall in the coffee shop selling 烧包 and kaya puffs. Try that too, they are good Will definitely revisit.
Ordered a plate of dai lok mee, price tag rm7 for small, but when serve, charge rm8. Asked why not same as per published, said price is like that. As for hygiene, when the owner is busy, they will just rinse the plate and cutleries with running tap water and wipe it with multipurpose cloth, then serve the meal.
Come for breakfast at 8am. Have parking lot in front of coffee shop or park at roadside. Very good wanton mee, springy noodle, tasty soup and big wanton. Char kwee teow good with wok hei and 2 big prawn, consider generous for a $6/plate.though no cockles. Hailam mee is good, similar to sgp hokkien mee. Kopi so-so quality.
All was well. Pan mee nice. But the fat owner is rude/obnoxious/pompous
