Great place to have a traditional Chinese pastry while watching the world go by. Right next to the famous Penang Road Char Koey Teow and Chendol stalls. The owner was even kind enough to let us bring in bowls of Chendol!!
Nice breakfast begins with black soya curd and black soya bean, hot buns in such a good ambience. It’s a heritage place that makes me reminiscing the old days... The freshly baked egg tarts are highly recommended Try it and you wont be disappointed!
I’ve never enjoyed every bite of every single piece of pastry more. We ate in the shop at Burma Road, with their bottled brewed drinks like black soya bean milk, bamboo cane and water chestnut drink... Went back on the morning of our departure to buy some more salted egg yolk pastries for family and friends back home in Singapore! Thanks for the beautiful pastries.
Really good pastries, esp the egg tart and durian pie! 11/10 would recommend.
