Bee Hwa Cafe - George Town

The food at this restaurant is excellent. I tried the soup, which was just as good, if not better, than most Thai laksa. I also had the noodles and TEH tarik, both of which were delicious. The restaurant was quite busy, likely because the food is so good.

The food and service is faultless a must-go for authentic halal Chinese hawker food!

This is the best place to eat in Penang for those looking for delicious food without having to wait in long lines. Their char kway teow is amazing, it's hard to find halal Chinese-style ones like this. The Hokkien Mee is fit for a king, it was that good. The customers are friendly and it's a pleasure to watch the auntie cook in front of you. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and wish them continued success in their business!

The Char Koay Teow at this restaurant was delicious, even though it was slightly different from what I am used to. It was not just made with prawns, but also included crab sticks and cockles, and tasted great with the homemade pickled chilli. The Koay Teow Thn'g was also good, with a tasty broth that even my young daughter enjoyed. The portion size was just right as well. I would definitely recommend trying this restaurant when you are in Penang.

Char kuey teow, curry mee, kuey teow thng and many more are recommended. The roti bakaq also very tasty. Highly recommended. Close at 4pm.
