Very nice and attractive hotel in historic semi-concrete houses, modern but with style, with small, cozy spa area. Very good breakfast and attentive, friendly service. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5.

The service was not really huge! 30 minutes we sat in front of empty plates that were not cleaned, although there were 5 people. At prices and standards a NoGo! We waited for the main course over 1h. Beverage delivery wasn't really good. The staff didn't see we were sitting on the dry one. For 2 courses we sat in the restaurant for 2.5 hours. Slow food and ambience okay, but if you're hungry, it should go a bit faster.

Located in the charming old town of Gengenbach, the Reichsstadt convinces with its ambience and service. My steak was absolutely perfect, both tasteful and crowded.
